Check Your Heart’s Strength – While You Walk or Run
A TMT (Treadmill Test), also known as a Cardiac Stress Test, checks how well your heart performs during physical activity. It helps detect heart problems that may not be visible when you’re at rest. As you walk or run on a treadmill, your heart is monitored to assess how it responds to increasing levels of exertion.
At SRI RAM DIAGNOSTICS, we perform safe, supervised TMTs using advanced equipment. It’s a simple, non-invasive test that gives vital information about your heart’s health.
Your doctor may suggest a TMT to:
Evaluate chest pain or discomfort during exertion
Detect blockages or reduced blood flow in heart arteries
Monitor your heart after a heart attack or bypass surgery
Assess your fitness level before starting an exercise program
Determine safe levels of physical activity
You’ll be asked to walk on a treadmill, starting slowly and gradually increasing speed and incline
Small electrode patches are placed on your chest to record your heart’s activity (ECG)
Your heart rate, blood pressure, and symptoms are monitored throughout the test
The test usually lasts 15 to 30 minutes, depending on your capacity
You can stop the test at any time if you feel unwell
Silent heart blockages (even before symptoms appear)
Abnormal heart rhythms during exercise
Signs of poor blood circulation to the heart
Exercise-induced angina or ischemia
Latest treadmill testing equipment
Supervised by trained technicians and medical staff
Accurate reports for cardiologist interpretation
Clean, private, and well-monitored test environment
